LOS ANGELES >> Vin Scully told a story Wednesday about a young Tommy Lasorda throwing batting practice. Scully, standing in left field, held a microphone. Lasorda was smiling and listening from the suite level of Dodger Stadium. The early birds among the announced crowd of 50,215 were all there to hear it.
