Wally Moon, a former All-Star outfielder who was the 1954 National League Rookie of the Year, died on Friday. Moon, who played for the St. Louis Cardinals and the Los Angeles Dodgers, died in Bryan, Texas. Moon was Rookie of the Year with the St. Louis Cardinals when he batted .304 with 12 home runs and 76 RBIs.
