Oakland's 3-4-5 hitters, Jed Lowrie, Khris Davis and Matt Chapman, all homered as the A's pounded out a season-high 21 hits in a 16-6 rout of the host Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday. Lowrie had three hits and drove in four runs, Davis had three hits and two RBIs and Chapman added two hits and three RBIs. Marcus Semien had two hits and four RBIs as every A's starter had at least one hit in support of right-hander Daniel Mengden (1-2).
