Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star shortstop Corey Seager will miss the remainder of the season after being diagnosed on Monday with a right ulnar collateral ligament sprain that will require Tommy John surgery. The Dodgers placed Seager, 24, on the 10-day disabled list due to the ailment and recalled infielder Breyvic Valera from Triple-A Oklahoma City. Seager, who has also been battling a hip injury, has hit .267 with two home runs and 13 RBIs in 26 games this season.
