The Los Angeles Dodgers placed right-hander Kenta Maeda on the 10-day disabled Wednesday with a right hip strain sustained in his start against the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday. Right-hander Dennis Santana was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move. Maeda exited against the Phillies with two outs in the second inning.
