Clayton Kershaw returned to the mound Thursday for the first time since May 1 after the Los Angeles Dodgers activated their left-handed ace from the 10-day disabled list. Kershaw, who had been sidelined due to left biceps tendinitis, started against the Philadelphia Phillies and threw five innings of one-run ball. The three-time National League Cy Young Award winner is just 1-4 with a 2.86 ERA over seven previous starts this season.
