Dodgers’ Puig (side strain) likely headed to DL

Right fielder Yasiel Puig was removed from the Los Angeles Dodgers' game against the Los Angeles Angels on Sunday due to a right intercostal oblique strain. After the game, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Puig was headed for an MRI exam on Monday and that he likely would be placed on the disabled list. Puig said, according to the Southern California News Group, that he never before experienced a similar injury.
