Dodgers 3B Turner returns to DL with groin injury

Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a right groin strain, the team announced Monday. In a corresponding move, the Dodgers recalled outfielder Alex Verdugo from Triple-A Oklahoma City. Turner left the Dodgers' 11-2 win in Milwaukee in the third inning on Sunday.
