Houston Astros All-Star George Springer could be set for a stint on the disabled list despite X-rays on his injured thumb coming back negative. Springer left Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the third inning after hurting his thumb. Springer was examined by trainers on the field and walked off holding his left hand before undergoing X-rays.
