Turner’s 4 hits help Dodgers trim West deficit

Justin Turner went 4-for-5 with two doubles and a homer, and Kike Hernandez also homered as the Dodgers held off the Rockies, 9-6, on Sunday to take two of three in the critical series. The Dodgers moved within a half-game of the NL West lead after tallying eight extra-base hits in the win. Nolan Arenado homered and made two stellar plays in the field, and Charlie Blackmon went deep twice for the Rockies, who open a four-game series against the D-backs on Monday in another crucial NL West showdown.
