Red Sox Nation predictably greeted Manny Machado with a chorus of boos every time he stepped onto the field at Fenway Park on Tuesday night in Game 1 of the World Series, but the Dodgers shortstop ignored the jeers. He refused to acknowledge the taunts. He remained focused on the task at hand. Machado is playing in his first Fall Classic, and nothing is going to distract him -- certainly not the opposing fans.
