Dodgers’ A.J. Pollock having surgery due to complications from 2016 injury
Doctors have found the source of A.J. Pollock's elbow infection. The Los Angeles Dodgers announced that their newly signed outfielder will have surgery on Thursday to replace metal hardware that was inserted into his elbow during a 2016 procedure. Pollock was sidelined for nearly five months that season after suffering a fractured right elbow on an awkward slide into home plate.
