No-hit bids usually end when a batter makes contact like Stephen Strasburg did in the sixth inning of Sunday's game between the Washington Nationals and Los Angeles Dodgers. With Dodgers starter Hyun-jin Ryu mowing down the Nationals lineup, Strasburg stepped into the box hoping to get his team's first hit of the day. That seemed to have happened when Strasburg poked a low line drive down the right-field line that bounced in the outfield.
