Reigning NL Cy Young Award winner Jacob deGrom is scheduled to take the mound for the Mets as they host the Los Angeles Dodgers in the middle game of a three-game series. The right-handed DeGrom (9-8, 2.70 ERA) will oppose Dodgers left-hander Hyun-Jin Ryu (12-5, 2.45 ERA) in what might be a battle of the two front-runners for this year's Cy Young. The Dodgers cruised to a 9-2 win Friday night, when Clayton Kershaw tossed 6 1/3 solid innings and Gavin Lux hit a tiebreaking three-run homer in the fourth inning.
