The Mookie Betts trade rumors are heating up, with the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres reportedly interested in acquiring the Boston Red Sox outfielder. Betts will be an unrestricted free agent after the 2020 season, and so far, he and the Red Sox haven't been able to work out a contract extension. The Red Sox cannot afford to let him walk in free agency and get nothing of value in return, and that means a trade should seriously be considered.
