Loney doubled in the sixth inning and surprised the White Sox by stealing third base. Loney isn't one of the faster Dodgers, but he stole 10 bases last year and Manager Don Mattingly singled him out as an example of someone who maximizes his effectiveness on the basepaths. "James is one of those guys who took advantage when he had a chance," Mattingly said.
