The Dodgers almost made it through their first two months without playing a first-place team in the National League West. They have played 20 games inside the division, but not counting Opening Day, only once was the team they were playing in first place at the time.(Note – it's very disappointing to me that I couldn't say they hadn't played a first-place team in the division at all.  That would have been a much more impressive little-known fact, and it would have carried nicely into the Colorado series.)The Dodgers' only remaining games inside the division before the All-Star break are against the Rockies and Padres.
