Two years ago, Mark Walter watched his first Dodgers home opener as team chairman.Friday was his third. Walter was in a familiar position, leaning against the cage while the Dodgers took batting practice. While some owners prefer to observe from a distance, it's not strange to see the silver-haired investment magnate on the field, chatting with players, coaches or alumni, like Ron Cey and Don Newcombe among others who stopped by to chat Friday.
