You don't do it by giving up a tiebreaking run because your pitcher throws a wild pitch to a batter trying to bunt. You don't do it by running your way into two double plays. You don't do it by giving away the final game of what could have and should have been a series sweep by the Los Angeles Dodgers, who were so hopeful after two straight wins but so poor in a 5-3 Thursday night loss to the New York Mets.
