ATLANTA – Stephen Fife did a nice job as a spot starter for the Los Angeles Dodgers last season, going 4-4 with a 3.86 ERA. But aside from one start in Miami, Fife was hardly available to the Dodgers this season. He had been dealing with an assortment of arm issues and, on Wednesday, his season ended. Fife was scheduled to undergo Tommy John surgery, which means he will miss most of 2015 as well. Fife, 27, is 4-6 with a 3.66 ERA in 18 major-league games.
