LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The Los Angeles Dodgers are trading outfielder Matt Kemp to the San Diego Padres, it was reported today.The San Diego Union-Tribune reported that the 30-year-old Kemp would be traded to the Padres with back-up catcher Tim Federowicz, citing unnamed sources. In exchange the Dodgers would take 26-year-old Padres catcher Yasmani Grandal and two pitching prospects, according to the newspaper.
