GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Left-hander Erik Bedard, bidding to make a comeback after being out of baseball since last August, is scheduled to receive an MRI on what appears to be a strained muscle in his side. Bedard prematurely exited Friday night's start in San Antonio."A lat strain is never really very good, but as far as the severity, we'll find out tomorrow," manager Don Mattingly said.Other pitching news:-- Hyun-Jin Ryu, who received an anti-inflammatory shot in his left shoulder Wednesday, was feeling "100 percent," according to Mattingly, and is scheduled to test the injury by playing catch today.
